300 win mag (220 SMK) load data.

Does anybody have any load data on a 300 win mag for the 220 SMK. Any help would be appriciated. I am shooting out of a 26" barrel. I was shooting the 180 SST but would like to have more downrange energy.

My rifle is a 26" stainless with a 1-9 twist. My ladder test showed 74.8gr. of H1000 and Fed. 215M primers to print .4 moa. at 300 meters.

I use Berger VLD'S, but am intrigued as to why the MK248 mod 1 300WM is loaded with a 220 SMK?
Is it cost, or do the military have some other reason for this choice?
I'd happily use 220 SMK's, but on ballistic charts they seem inferior.
