I have a 7 twist. Most of the 88 Gr. ELD's I shot didn't make it to the target.
That 6.5 twist on the long 88 gr Eldm might struggle to stay together; especially if you run them full tilt. We are using 8 twists on 22 CM s and 22-250 AI s with 3200 fps and the 88 is working good.
If bullet blow ups occur consider a shorter bullet; like a 75 Eldm… know those will take 3550 fps out of an 8 twist. Long bearing surfaces on the heavier bullets cause lots of friction/heat.

Thanks! My 77gr. Sierra,s are providing good accuracy with Big Game powder. For Deer, I use Barnes 70gr. X bullet.

I think you are gonna have a hard time for any cup and core bullet to stay together. But try them and see what happens
