I'm looking to shoot the nosler partition 140 grain in 6.5 creedmoor.

Any powder recommendations would be great. I'm shooting a savage model 10 with a 24" barrel and 1:8 twist.

Thanks in advance.

reloder 16 has been working pretty good for me.

2780 out of a 20" barrel. Put a new tube on my gun. it's probably closer to 2850 or 2900 now. Need to do some more testing.

I normally use my 6.5x284 for hunting with 140's out to 1000 yards, the 6.5CM mostly for PRS and mid-range hunting(to 700 yards). As mentioned in my previous post, I like H4350 for the 6.5 CM. Problem is, with the high popularity of this round for the tactical sports, availability of H4350 is poor. As a back-up I developed a load using H4831sc which is readily available, and has comparable temperature in-sensitivity, accuracy, and velocity/ES. The only aspect to keep in mind about H4831sc is that it is at 100% case capacity for the load shown. It does however match the POI of H4350 to beyond 1000 yards. Bullet shown is a Hornady 143 ELD-X, but I have gotten comparable results with other 140's.
Attachment : 200 Yard POI of H4831sc(left); H4350(right). both are <.25MOA loads.

I switched from RL17 to IMR 4451.
Glad I did, there was some H4350 on the shelf the other day, I didn't even bother buying it. The IMR 4451 is giving me 2750 fps with a 140 RDF @41.5 grains.
Good enough,

Not meaning to hi-jack here, but how are those noslers shooting? Are they seat depth sensitive? Also, have you tested the BC?

I'm running a .69 g1 to 1000 yards.
I haven't tested them further yet.
I'm jumping them .030" and getting under half Moa.

I bought 1000 of them, and 8# of IMR 4451.
While everyone is searching for 140 ELDs and H4350, I found a alternative and I'm never looking back.

Wow .69????? I'm about out of my 140 eld and I can't find any so I'm looking for an alternative. Not sure I want to run the 147 so so thought the 140 rdf would be a good choice. Just hate to change after I got done developing a really good load with the 140 eld
