Picked up a piece of Lodge at Walmart this spring. It was in a pile with other Lodge in their garden center. 12 inch, two small grip handles. I think it was $19. Very nice pan.

I have never mixed powder. My reloading mentor frowned on it. Told me when I get older and my mind is not what it is as a kid it would be easy to screw up.

I agree with above. The first things I do when I see issues like this is clean the barrel and check scope/mounts. On hunting rifles I use a 200 zero.

As mentioned above - When you choose a brass for a specific rifle try to stick with it. That is why I am looking for LC for my AR platform. If I use another manufacturer I will have to start all over with ladder test. And I can't see loading Lapua for an AR even though I shoot it at targets...

I like LC for the 5.56 platform. For my bolt 223 I use Lapua. Everything else is Lapua or Starline. For some handgun I buy bulk Federal FMJ. --- lancetkenyon - Most grateful if you could tell me where you purchase LC. My source (Brass Bombers is out of business). Thanks.

I have a number of things that go bang. But every time I go to my club for practice I take the 22 rifle my grandfather bought me when I was 16. Nothing makes me smile like that rifle. A lot of great memories shooting at tin cans in the north woods of Wisconsin.

Do you mean a beam RCBS scale. I have been using one for years. If it is inactive for a while (I am not using it) I have to start from zero before loading powder. Snoopy hands in house, cat in house, too many things to knock it off. But I love it, great scale for me.
