I watched a hunting partner miss a 6pt bull this yr with a 50cal, it was the first elk he had ever shot at and he said " I was shaking more than a dog shittin peach seeds!". LMAO...
T3- I got him at 8:30 am the opening morning, I heard several bulls bugling the 1st hr and they stopped after that. We didnt hear much after that, this one came in silent on me. I heard him break some branches as he came up the ridge to me.

Just got back from Colorado black powder elk hunt, we went 1 for 3 this yr. I got a heavy horned 7x7 bull that's going on the wall. The bulls we saw were all singles and not much bugling going on.
