Roll-Yur-Own has some of the new brass on order. I'm still waiting along with a few others. I could have gotten some earlier, but I believed the BS of the TTI guys.
I have a Leica 800 I bought over 6 years ago. I love it. Great optics and never had a problem ranging. Never had a reason to upgrade to the 1200, but I was thinking about a pair of geovids. Glad I didn't buy them after hearing what you said. I thought the ultravids were binos and not a rangefinder.
I'll admit that I've the TSX actually shoot well. They do drop'em in there tracks. But, for less $$$ I get Nosler AB's that shoot lights out and drop them just as quick.
XLC's are crap. Shoot **** poor. TSX are supposed to be better, but I could care less. Accubond drop'em as fast and have way better BC's and are super accurate. Why would anyone use barnes?

I agree that not all high fencing means canned hunt. Like R.Y.O. said, breeding or purchasing animals is usually...
djd, I don't think he flamed lawton. He simply told his story. If we only wanted to hear the good things, we could put on the hunting shows and watch the commercials.
I rely on forums because I get real opinions. Nobody is perfect in any business and **** happens. It doesn't mean that Lawton...
