    I’ve done a couple savages with x caliber barrels. 6.5 and 6mm creedmoor. I’ve been very impressed with them. The 6.5 is 26” I think savage varmint contour. Bedded it in a Boyd’s pro varmint it shoots stupid good. Once you get the factory barrel off it’s smooth sailing. Good luck!

    I think smiths have trouble with heavy hard cast loads such as underwood or buffalo bore. I’ve saw it in one and after some research that was the general consensus

    Are You blued steel, 1 inch & fine wood or are you Kevlar, carbon, stainless, 30-34mm??

    Don’t forget about the stainless with wood. Always thought the 700 cdl sf was a very good look.
