Thermal coyote action with Pulsar Apex

Hey guys... Just thought I'd share some of my coyote hunting videos since I got my thermal scope. I absolutely love this thing. I'd have some great footage from last nights hunt, but my mini DVR died, so ordering one tomorrow, but here's some from a recent as last week back to when I first got...

Long Range Coyote calling on East Coast

I live out west and exclusively hunt at night using a .223. The furthest I've poked coyotes is 375 yards and both fell right there. Typically, my shots are 200 and less, with the one last night at 202 yards. Coyotes are easy to stop, it's just a matter of wind speed and direction when you...

Triple came in but had to anchor the first coyote...

Thanks Dgd6mm... Love night hunting coyotes... about all I think about since I began a number of years back. Hardly hunt anything else anymore, so I sure must be having a good time!

Triple came in but had to anchor the first coyote...

I was really hoping that I could pull a double or even possibly a triple on this stand, however, that's how coyote hunting goes! You never know how it's going to turn out, which is the beauty of it! Really enjoyed it though, especially when the hungarian partridges flew up about 1:15 into...

    22/250 or 223

Heya... the 22-250 is a great platform for a bolt action... fast... flat.. hard hitting. It's a definite caliber of choice for a lot of predator hunters. I have one, but I personally find that I use the .223 more often... both bolt action and semi. The reason is that the bullets are less...

Note to Self... don't shoot fence posts...

... I find it a lot easier to shoot a coyote on the first shot... as compared to the 4th. Don't shoot your first shot into a fence post!!:D https://youtu.be/eQtAfnuyxv8

Bugger tried to give me the slip... Thermal

Thanks steelflight! Geo4061.... Heya... I'm using a pulsar apex XD75A and the shot was 165 yards. It came in so fast... I didn't have time to zoom or engage the picture in picture zoom function. Just was thinking about getting on my belly and lined up for the shot! Lol

Bugger tried to give me the slip... Thermal

Man... I had to just stay on top of this one, because he gave me the slip earlier at about 60 yards in some deep grass (think he had a den in there). Drove down the road a bit... ran my locator... and he howled from the same spot, so I drove back about half way to where I knew he was...

Electronic calls, batteries and cold temps?

Wlfdg... the guys above are on the money... but I'd like to add one more word of caution... not all calls can use the lithium batteries. I have a foxpro spitfire and it won't run on them... though my fusion does (the fusion actually has a setting on the ecaller to change from alkaline, nimh...

Professional Hunter to Remove Idaho Wolves

Ok men.... I was just sitting here thinking about all the negative impacts the wolf has had on elk, deer, coyotes, moose, mt lions etc etc etc. Let's stop lamenting this and start doing something about it. Let's get our tags... plan some wolf hunts, and push back. Consider the impact of even...
