    So it turns out my carbon hunter has asporter contour in it. My carbon fiber barrel is in a different rifle (1st world problems amirite?).     He says its a fix for long action. 6.5 prc doesn't have any magazines at the 3.715. Hawkins has solutions for remington 700 models and clones but any other platform and you are kinda SOL. I am building a howa 1500 long action and hopefully this solves my issue.

    So you bent the lips up a bit? Did you just increase the gap until the cartridge would push through?
