Living in australia, i purchased an O frame made locally by an australian company called Simplex. I have had it for 32 years and it will no doubt out last me. It has a very heavy cast iron frame with thick steel linkages and a .8 hollow ram. Its a heavier duty version of the Rockchucker.

i just purchased a competition Leupold 40x45 with target dot, for bench-rest shooting with side focus. its an awesome scope if you like to see the hairs on flees at 100 yards.

My vote is 300 WM with 210 Bergers, with the addition of a good brake it really tames recoil of the 300WM.

I tend to agree with Broz's last statement I have noticed inconsistency in neck tension after 5 to 6 reloads on a the same case, annealing may help here.

just looking though the manual 208 gr bullets, I think the most you could hope for would be around 2550 fps with most powders including the range RL powders.

RL17 & 100 gr Nosler BTs are an awesome combo in my 257 WBY Mag its AV is 3749 and an inch group at 100 yards.

i had a problem Not with Winchesters but with CCI 250Mag primers.

Reloder 33 might be interesting with heavy weight bullets in the ultra-magnums & 250gr and 300 gr in the .338 Lapua
