    257 wby load

I have a 257 weatherby that has been in the family since I was a boy.... All we have ever used in it were regular cup bullets on deer. They have never even taken a step with the amount of hydrostatic shock they produce... In my opinion solids are for elk shooting heavy bone.... It's mostly...

    Chromoly or Stainless?

It's not preferred by smiths because they make money making new barrels and it is more expensive.... As a shooter I would rather shoot 17-4 no matter the cost because if you are spending 4-7 k on a rig rings scope and ammo you want it to last more than 700 rounds. With the new high pressure...

    Chromoly or Stainless?

They use a stainless steel very close to 17-4 stainless which is the best barrel material there is for a magnum, but it is hell on a gunsmith and tooling.... But you titanium carbonitride it and it will handle pressure better than any other as barrel by leaps and bounds....

The New Hornady A-tip match bullet

He went further than 20 to 30 yards... Didn't hunch up much at all and didn't suffer from hydrostatic shock from the bullet.

    New scope issue

Maybe Kelby pinned the rail the wrong way and your at negative 20... Haha Who knows.... Put the scope on another rifle and see if it zeros... If it does not, send it back to nightforce for a replacement. If it does, then you know the issue isn't your scope.... Sounds like you either have a...

    6.5 Weatherby RPM

Sounds like a nice concept... I built mine in 2014 and was just looking for a project to work on with the Berger bullets in a weatherby rifle that has been in the family for a while. I love weatherby actions, the consistent norma brass and was just looking for a bit more case capacity so it...

7 MM SHERMAN MAG FIRST LOOK

I have a case capacity of 91 grains in a wildcat 7mm weatherby I made with a 35 degree shoulder... The norma brass hardens up and shoots forever after it is formed.... I have whidden dies that full length size that match my chamber.... My creamer will give me plenty of barrels too...

    6.5 Weatherby RPM

Over bore Not overboard... Ai changes my spelling all the time... **** phones Plus hornady makes crappy inconsistent brass. Should have had lapis make it if they wanted something good.

    6.5 Weatherby RPM

A lot of similarities to the wildcat I built off of a 7mm weatherby case. They could have made a titanium magnum big bolt and made the action more accessible to other weatherby cartridges and still made a light rifle with more long range potential. 6.5 rifles don't have enough knock down power...

Accurate load falls apart after 100

Your barrel is running outta life... You have a loose action, scope ,mount, that is causing an larger variation in poi at range, the bullets might be way outta align concentricity could be way out and causing it... They would have to be 10 thousandth or more though.... Accidentally put different...
