My tensor popped loose and created a speed bump effect that had to try to sleep on. They were good to replace it but I no longer trusted it. Cool days I pack an exped ultra and just plain cold days I use a heavier Klymit insulated luxe v. Fwiw I’m a big guy.

That nitecore isn’t bad at all. Fenix hm60r is about the same light but lasts longer and runs a bit cooler than the nitecore. I own both.

I’m on the fence about which ones for two builds. So many of their stocks are close to what I want but none check all the boxes. Sure would help if they’d return an email.

I still love an ol’ 870. I’ve liked others but I keep coming back to it. Ambi thumbhole lets me take 3.5” recoil better and I can switch and shoot left handed unlike other thumbholes. Yeah, i could go with less shell and likely will after this year but can’t argue the results.

Repaired my favorite last year. JLC calls made me a slate over glass I’ve loved but he’s gone dark. It repaired well and sounds the same to me! (Broken slate)

I find locators work for me early in the day. I shy away from crow calls however since it does just that. I hunt in some areas absolutely eat up with crows. Like many turkey calls they work best when you get in their bubble.

Not so long range at about 100 yards. 120gr gamekings… not just for deer. Many of y'all get much bigger and prettier yotes than I see here in NC. They usually look about like these smelly things did.
