The nut torque has no effect on accuracy. Headspace, cartridge, etc does. Specs are 70 ft lbs. Me, I've always used the proper wrench tightened by hand to about 60 ft lbs (one hand at 1 ft with lean weight) and a tap with a small hammer. I've loosened some that took my body weight standing...

TSA rules do not state the bolt must be removed from the action, but I would and tie it down separately to prevent it being a hard spot and breaking or bending your firearm. My 2 cents worth. I don't trust TSA from damaging my firearm if they can. Larry Tinkerer

Stock? I like Boyds with bedding block, but you're experience may vary. Barrel? Seeing the number of rounds you shoot a year, you might consider a melonited barrel. I like McGowen's. Larry Tinkerer
