I just meant I thought Tac would be better than reloader 22 in a short barrel since it burns faster.

I thought would be better especially given the short barrel. But I don’t know a whole lot about this stuff though.

So I used up the last of my H4350 and happen to have some Ramshot Tac and Reloader-22 powders. I know they aren't ideal but has anyone tried these? What were your loads and results? I'll be shooting using 140 gr bullet and an 18" barrel too.

That makes more sense. It's quiet enough for a few shots. That sounds nice for hunting.

Honest question. What's the big deal though if you have to wear hearing protection still? I'm not knocking them, just trying to justify the cost to myself.

That's why I can't seem to justify the expense for one if I still have to wear hearing protection.

What are the complaints you're getting about the Sig Cross?

What does it weigh? Also which stock is that?

Nice! I haven't got mine dialed in quite that good yet, but I was getting 0.75" groups on my 6.5 Creedmoor Cross.

I've got a Cross in 6.5 Creedmoor. I really like the rifle a lot. With very little load development I have a load shooting 0.75" groups. Once I can actually find different powders I really think I can better that. The gun itself though feels very high quality and just feels balanced really well.

Mines been great so far. I've only done three different loads but was getting a 0.73" group. I've got several different loads waiting to be shot.

I'd look at the Sig Cross. It's really handy and light.
