Anyone try 180 gr Scenars? I have some loaded with up to 68.0 grs of H1000 at .002 off the lands to find pressure. Looking for around 2900 fps with accuracy, of course. Bartlein 26" barrel / 8 twist. Just need to get to the range. Factory Precision Hunter ELD X 175 gr is giving me 2880 fps...

Is anyone using the 180 Scenar in their 7 PRC? I am using the 139 in my 6.5 CM and the 150 in my 7-08. I think they are great bullets. I am in the process of gathering components to hand load my 8 twist Bartlein and the Scenars are on top of my bullet list.

I rebarreled my .257 to a 7mm PRC. Picking it up this week. I had a bartlein on it that duped a rem magnum sporter. Gave that to my son to replace his factory barrel on his rem 700 cdl sf. Personally, I am done with the .257 bee.

You are shopping in the wrong places. It's easy to pay half that.

What rifle? Factory, custom? First time having this problem? Sounds like a headspace issue.
