my wife just bought me a loading press and dies for my 300rum. many of the loading books i've found dont have any info or loads for this gun. I'd like to work up a load. any suggestions? I've got a savage model 112.

I just purchased a savage model 112 in the 300rum and I'm wondering how it should perform against other makes, models, barrels, ect. I've had the trigger worked on and its now at 2 1/4 lbs. It has one of those breaks that twists open and closed. How do you feel about them?

I currently load 38 grains of h380 with 53 grain hornady hollow points its the most accurate load I've ever shot but it knocks the heck out of bobcat hides. I'm looking for an accurate load that wont ruin the hides. Any loads or ideas would be helpful. thanks

thanks brassbender. do you know anything about slowing down a smaller ballistic tip? like a 30 grain nosler. i was told the would go in but not come out. what do you think?

I'm having trouble blowing up bobcats with my model 788 22-250. Can any help me find a load and bullet that wont destroy them. I'm shooting 50-300 yards. thanks

I'm hunting with a model 788 22-250 and im shooting bobcats from 50-300 yards. I'm having trouble not blowing them up. I'm looking for some very accurate loads that will not leave a big hole in the back side. Any info would be great.thanks

I just purchased a 300 rum and with facory 180 grn sciroccos I am only able to shoot a 1 1/2 inch group. should I try hand loading or get a new gun? Also is this a calibur I can plan on making the long shot with? If I can get it grouping.
