Paal, sleeves are used to strengthen the action and to provide more bedding surface. Usually beneficial with the big heavy barrels. You say you are going with a 28-30" barrel, what contour? Also without extensive work it makes your action single shot. RandyB.

Brent, the catalog shows the 116 fsak (the ak is the adjustable brake model) in the Ultra cartridges. However they are somewhat hard to find. Gunfinder.net had a couple in 300 win mag last week but no Ultra"s. RandyB.

Grandad, if your in the Dallas Tex area you are surrounded by many excellent gunsmiths. My reccomendation would be Triple G in Stephenville. I have a friend who has had some experience with Marksman Arms, I cannot comment on them on the forum. Also read the thread before you on Bountyhunter"s...
