Data needed for 225gr in .308Win

I hadn't thought of contacting Hornady. I figured they probably had published data for these in a book newer than the one I have. In the absence of actual data though, I had planned to use 220 data and a little experience to establish my starting load(s).

Gotcha. Yeah, that is what I had in mind. My barrel is a 1/10" twist.

Data needed for 225gr in .308Win

Hey guys. I wonder if anyone has real data for loading Hornady's 225 BTHP in a .308 Win. I've checked my books, and I have a plan (where to start), but it would be nice if I could see some real load data for these. Thanks in advance.

Do you see the monster whitetail?

I agree... unless I don't. What I mean is that for me... right now... its all about the kill. that's because I lost my job a few weeks ago, and have to feed 6 mouths somehow. I guess I can consider myself lucky that I lost my job right before deer season... silver lining. I usually hunt for the...

    My new deer hunting rifle

If I could give you the "bird" via emoji, I'd have done that. No. Great group though. I don't have many rifles that would compete with that. :(

Great, and very practical, review. Thanks for the info. That's a lot of real world data.

    Reloading manual for a novice

My dad read the Lee manual, and starting loading years ago. My base reloading knowledge came from him, and that book. When I bought my first one, I bought and read the Hornady manual. I found it to be of similar value. Next came Nosler and Lyman. Nothing extrordanary really, from them. I bought...

    6x45 / .243-.223 / Information Please

Yeah. I've got three girls, aged 4, 6, & 8 years, and a 7 year old boy. In other words, if the round meets our needs... the rifle(s) may see a ton of field time.

I have a Savage model 16. If I build and like the 6x45 in the AR platform, I am already considering a new 6mm barrel for the bolt gun.
