Looking for some feedback on the SV42-10 Binoculars. Currently have the Nikon 8x-42 but wanting to hand them down. Trying to justify the extra $70.00 over the Nikons for the KOWA as my replacement.
Thanks

Many thanks for all the input!
Just curious about the Nikon 4.5-14x40 Buckmaster Rifle Scope
Reticle: BDC
Finish: Matte
Tube Diameter: 1"
Side Focus
Dont see what the adjustable MOA is and am not too familiar with the Buckmaster glass? 14x should suffice for some respectable yardages I am...
Thanks guys, have two scopes in my "sights" ;-)
Is the Illuminated Vortex usable without batters, and what about the Leupolds or Millets for that matter?
Danka
Looking for a good 4.5-14x min scope up to a 6.5-24x. My main concern is the repeatability with solid clicks as we will be dialing up and down to where need be. Side focus would also be nice.
I am currently using an old Vari XII 6-18x40 that has worked quite well so far. Would also like a 30mm...
Very good info, thanks guy's!
Much cheaper than the other shop I got quoted at for them putting on a muzzle brake $250.00.
Looks like this route will make it worth a shot, pun intended :-)
I am fairly confident the new pad and brake will tame it making it a new rifle for her.
She already...
I am looking for a "budget" minded effective muzzle brake.
Planning on purchasing one and having it installed at the "local" smith, if needs be.
Got quoted $90.00 to $100.00 for labor.
Application = my hunting buddy is trying to tame his .270 so that his petite wife might be able to handle...
Looking to see if anyone has the BC breakdown for the 210 Hunter VLDs by velocity boundaries as it slows?
All I have is whats on the box 0.631 BC.
Thanks!

Re: Angle Cosine Indicator ~ Knights Armament BulletFlight app
Very good, thanks WildRose!
For some reason I was trying to make this more difficult or something. I was thinking I need the angle to put into my Knights Armament BulletFlight app.
I had read up on everything but for some reason it...
At the great risk of embarrassing myself, not the first time, I have a question.
So I have the Angle Cosine Indicator ready to bolt on my rig.
I am out in the field and get my cosine reading, say 91.
I range my target at 500 yards.
I simply multiply 500 x .91 which gives me 455...
Thanks Loner
I do have the Bullet Flight app but it wants degrees as an input, not the Cosine, as far as I know.
I have the Angle Cosine Indicator, not the Angle Degrees Indicator.
Will take a look at the jbm

Did some digging but didnt find anything. Just checking to see if anyone has come up with a i-pod touch app. that is compatible with the use of a Angle Cosine Indicator?
I have the ACI and an i-pod touch, no smart phone or pda, not familiar with a pda.
Thanks
