    3 rifles for a Barrett with a mk4?

Finishing my other thread...Hard earned cash. Also you see 3 guns going out and one coming back so your mind will think your purchase did not add up. Sometimes some people feel one way about how many they have as to how many quality firearms you have; there could be a stark difference for the...

    3 rifles for a Barrett with a mk4?

the firearms you have are more mainstream I would say and the Barrett is something most of us have to get in the right predicament to acquire one. I say the rifle is more important than the scope. Great scopes are everywhere and cost 1/10th of the price of that firearm. So you can get it...

Determining BC and drop for big bullets

You can buy muzzleloader bullets with polymer tips installed. I have purchased many sizes of hollow point muzzleloader bullets with polymer tips to make the fly better.

    Meat delivery...

I have sent meat home using FedEx. They were great and I got next day service and 2 day service. It works nice. YES I have also shipped my gear there and back too. It makes for a very light baggage so you can just take a carry on and your good.

What is everyone's recommended Muzzleloader rifle?

I have and love my Knight Mountaineer in a 50 caliber. The barrels are the best ever. They are waterproof when using their FPL bolt system with primer inserts. My Knight is grey and has a thumb hole in it. I put a nice muzzleloader scope from Nikon. It is user friendly to shoot and maintain.

Suitable youth rifle for a Mule Deer hunt?

I used a Remington 270 to train my 2 boys after they trained with 22s, 223s & 308. I have always believed that the 270 is the best all around bullet. It’s in the middle and the rifle and ammo is everywhere to be found. A Remington (or other brand) in 270 are very inexpensive or you can spend...

    best rifle sling/carrier

Yes I like there line-up of rifle and pack gear. I enjoy carrying my rifle secure to my pack. Even in a scabbard if it’s rough weather.

    best rifle sling/carrier

Hello, looked at this system and it looks to be a fair setup. But for me, putting something under my arm like this swings in my way and bangs on me. I guess I am big and clumsy : ) I like this item also for walking. https://www.blackovis.com/stone-glacier-weapon-sling

DO YOU LIKE YOUR ILLUMINATED SCOPE?

I like illumination without batteries. I have a couple that require batteries to also include red dot scopes - green dot scopes too. I carry extra batteries when (as one said “skulking around”) just in case. Interesting, huh, we have come a long way from having just a nice set of iron...

    Mountain Rifle Caliber

I know not many people talk about the 270 much but that round in either regular or WSM is great. Availability is good and the hardware is plentiful, and it’s great for young in time not age hunters. : )

6.5 Creed replace the .308 for hunting?

I think having a 308 in your firearm library is mandatory. The 308 is a common round and therefore easy to acquire and make either way. Also the 308 can have a little more metal on the meat or paper. I would not consider redoing either of my 308s. I have 4 of them; one is a LAR-8 with all the...
