After you have chamfered the mouth, rub it a few times against steel wool to make it perfectly smooth. You can also smear the inside of the neck with molly or Imperial dry neck lube.

I made this gadget when I saw the Wheeler Pro.
Used teflon and fitted a bubble level on top to keep my gun level while fitting the cope.
Much cheaper!!
This jig was made to fit the chamber of my 308. The stock is removed and the jig fitted in the place of the bolt. Then to the lathe, the thick part in the chuck. to cut the threads.
The barrel was never removed from the action.
