I had elk medallions while in Estes Park, Colorado and it was by far the best cut of meat I have ever eaten. I had several slices of buffalo roast while stationed at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona and it was quite good as well.

The only 1,000 yard range I know of in Florida is the Manatee Gun and Archery Club.

I've hunted hogs in Bristol, Virginia....but never heard about this incident. Being a native Virginian, I'd be interested in hearing a follow-up on this incident. If they're still in business, I'd be willing to book a hunt with them the next time I'm home.
