    156 gr wildcats in factory 25-06 will they work?????????

    I haven't tried any 156gr. bullets in my 25-06, but am abig fan of RL-22 in this cartridge. Having said that, if your barrel is a common 1-10 twist, I doubt that you can push the 156 grainers fast enough to stabilize them, Jim

    I'm looking for bullets heavier than 120 grains that will stabilize in 1 in 10" twist barrel that are appropriate for deer hunting. I'm running them from a 257Wby with a 28" barrel so speed will probably be around 3200 fps+. Just looking for a little better velocity and energy retention, as...
