I've been extremely pleased with my Nomad-30, I'm tempted to buy a Nomad LT or a Nomad TI. I already have a CGS Hyperion I'm waiting on so I hate to be repetitive but they just perform so well and the universal threading is a huge benefit over the Hyperion.

I’d just pick one and build it. You can change barrels extremely easily later. that having been said, I’d love to do a 6.5 all of the AR10’s I’ve owned were .308

I've also been looking at the Sig Cross but from everything I've read the QC has been awful on those and they're terrible inaccurate. If they get their issues worked out I'll definitely be a buyer.

Based off of the limited information that you provided, I would suggest a YHM resonator or resonator K.

That sucks. I was able to grab some 4166 from midsouth last week. Varget is of course nowhere to be found.
