With a light rifle, chambered in 7 RM, even with a break, I don't think you'll ever be able to spot your own impacts. Always better to have a spotter.

Yeah, and it's kind of funny that all three brands of HV ammo all list 1435 fps for the speed. I also noticed that the $18 Lapua ammo has the same headstamp as the $6 S*K ammo.
