Thanks all for the advice. I will work on getting a couple of spots notched to help hold. A friend gave me some really strong epoxy they use at his work. Once it dries I will make it blend in with the rest of the stock.

I do not have the piece unfortunately .

I took a stock to have bedding material removed ( I bought it used) and to bed my rifle to the stock. A piece of the stock ripped while he was removing the old bedding compound. What would be the best way to fix this?

I decided to buy a stock from a fellow member. I went with a Grayboe Terrain left hand. I also bought a Hawkins precision BDL bottom metal. The picture isn’t the best.
