I used 300RUM brass and ran it through a 338 RUM FL die backed out enough to not touch the shoulder and it had a tapered expander .338 probably not the best way to do it, but it worked fine for my edge.

yes, you can use a 338 ultra die backed out with a .338 tapered expander to size your 300 RUM to 338EDGE

wow, ok. I'm going to be working up a load for my 338edge and I've only used RL33 so far. I'm trying to get an idea for a starting load. I was going to start at 89 and go up from there, but now I'm second guessing that. If you say your rifle's max loads are at book start loads, I might need...

Yea, i saw this guy put one right in the 4" bullseye at 1000 yards with his VX3 although, it was going sideways...

Bryan, durring your testing, what barrel length and twist did you use? I'm currious as to what COAL worked well, jammed or jumped? thanks.

are there any downsides of 5r rifling on an edge? also, what twist would work best with the new bergers?

Is the trigger factory adjusted, or is the pull weight lowered? Are these the externally adjustable ones?

same thing happened to a friends 300wm. turns out his barrell wasnt floated enough. 1st two shots right on, but then 3rd was way off because barrell got hot and touched the stock. He filed down the stock a little more to fit a business card all the way down, problem solved, all holes...
