I have an 8lb of n565 just opened and maybe 50 7Saum loaded out of it. Gun like n560 waaaay better. Anyone around Houston want to trade?
Would also sell local if no 560.
Musta photoshopped this one off Sportsman's Warehouse. 🙄. You don't like it, don't buy it but don't accuse me of being dishonest. Why would I post a pic of the fubar'd muzzle brake but hide the changing a recoil pad.
Original recoil pad. Here is a better picture. Yea, I had a helluva time getting that brake off. It doesn't look great but can be replaced easily and willing to negotiate on that.
Selling my Christensen Arms Ridgeline chambered in 30-06. Only about 60 rounds down it. Shoots great but just sits in the safe. There are a couple scuffs due to use on the stock and some marks on the brake from removing it to clean but rest of rifle is in great shape.
Currently has a Vortex...
I will go back to that thread. Most of what I saw in there was terminal performance stuff. I assume you mean this one:
"Badlands Precision Bullets thread - From BC to terminal ballistics"
Yea, that's what's sent me down this road. Results haven't been great. I've been down the neck tension road before, buying custom mandrels from 21st Century and using Gage pins to measure.
I have been trying to work up a load with a 150gr Badlands BD2 - unsuccessfully I may add. I seat with an arbor press w/ force pack and a Wilson inline die. I have always thought the seating forces were erratic and much higher than I'm used to with my Berger 6mm bullets, but chalked it up to...
Case capacity = 76.7gr H2O
150gr BD2 Bearing Length (using 7mm SAC comparator) = .426-.427in
I fireformed from ADG 7 saum brass. Understood its not exactly a Max, but its the closest thing available and very close.
