You thought the prices were bad?

Sadly you are right. America is under invasion (and and has been since 1965, look up Hart-Cellar Act, if you aren't familiar)- When the founding stock of America becomes a minority in our own country, I don't think the former minorities will be as kind to us, as we have been to them.

You thought the prices were bad?

The Overton Window has been steadily shifting to the Left for years/ decades, heck- maybe almost a Century.

Strong men(WWII gen) create good times. Good times create weak men. (Boomers) Weak men (Boomers) create bad times. Bad times (thanks, Boomers) create strong men. We will clean up your mess, Boomers.

We aren't going to vote our way out of it, that's for certain sure.

    First NRL Hunter match

Nah, rest assured I've tried them, and have my preferences. We all do, and we don't all have the same preferences. And that's ok! Hey, sometimes stubbornness is what sees things through, don't knock it, or at least don't automatically discount it! :)

    First NRL Hunter match

Yeah, that's totally it, brah. It's absolutely not just my preference, born of my personal experiences doing this since before DBMs on bolt guns became "cool". Or for the most part- even existed.

What gun would you want if the SHTF?

History does tend to repeat..... So should we elect someone with a unique mustache to take out the trash? 😁

    First NRL Hunter match

I'm an exception I guess, I really prefer a top loader. They tend to feed and function so much more smoothly and more reliably. I gave up on PRS when the round counts for individual stages began to get so high, and the allowed times so short as to make it not just difficult, but impossible to...

    Vihtavuori powder

This is true with all powders. Depending on the climate you live in. In a high humidity environment powders absorb moisture, slowing their burn rate, and in a desert environment they dry out, increasing their burn rate. I have experienced this, in both environments. Here's a rabbit hole for ya...

    Post brass cleaning?

You'll break your teeth on these cookies! Funny, that's what my wife says when the timer goes off: "Cookies are done!" I guess I haven't done the math on the cost of running the oven at 200° for 20 min, we have a 500 gal propane tank that we only top off once a year.🤷🏼‍♂️ It's quick and easy!

    Post brass cleaning?

I clean them in the ultrasonic, dump them in a towel to remove some of the excess water. Then put them on a cookie sheet and stick em in the oven @ 200° for 20 min. I usually leave them sit until the next day to be sure they are 100% dry.

    Help identifying this Kimber

The skinny bolt handle and lightening cuts in the extractor say it *is a Mountain Ascent...... that's been drug thru the swamp... that's duck camo, as others stated, probably a wrap. Danged offensive to my eyes, Haha.

Help me understand the importance of measuring velocity for reloading.

I calls em as I sees em 🤷🏼‍♂️😁

Help me understand the importance of measuring velocity for reloading.

I've done load dev with and without a chronograph. I've gotten good results both ways. Having velocity data (especially extreme spread data) makes it easier I think, especially if shooting at long distances. Knowing my ES helps me know how much vertical dispersion I can expect to have on...
