You seem very knowledgeable about elk hunting units in Wyoming. Ive acquired about 5 points, and I'm wondering what the top three units I should send in for, hunting rifle season. I'm a non-resident from South Dakota.
I would like to research some units for a couple years and get the lay of the land before I send in for a tag. I would like to get into a unit that would give me the best shot at a trophy and not have to worry about private land. I will most likely be hunting alone so I would like to be able to hike around the country. Thanks in advance for any advice.
