i have shot the kimbir 8400! and i am a 300 wsm nut! it should be shooting lots better then that! maybe have someone shoot it and see how they do! or start reloding! it could also be a problem with the barrel from the factory! that happens sometimes!

i know its a great caliber and i agree it can take elk i have one my self! but id never take it elk hunting. i guess i like just like knowing that if i can make the shot my bullet will do its job!

i have and have shot both many many times! both are really great! both have there advantages! but the better one i would have to say is diffinatly the 300 wsm! it is a tack driver! but they are really close to the same youll be hapy with both! good luck!
