Well I explained why I made those comments. It was in response to the comment prior to mine in the thread. Go get in a fight with someone else. This is why LRH has been going downhill the last 5 years.

Jfseaman.... I did not say anything bad about Lilja so please don't infer that. I simply disagee that 'most overbore fire-breathers go 3 groove'.That is why I mentioned sales numbers, that does speak to popularity and the "most".

Feenix.... of course Lilja will say his barrels are the best, if he didn't I wouldn't of ever tried one. I do agree its probably preference in the end. I just don't think that "most" 300s are made on 3 groove barrels. I bet Krieger sells more (cut, non 3 groove) 308 barrels a year than Lilja...

Capt... I respectfully disagree. I have had several lilja barrels and they all run tight on the bore measurement than most others. I don't have a hardness tester but I think they are softer than the cut rifled barrels. It might be an interesting poll but I think you will find many more 4 and 6...

I got fed up with the 90lb limbs on my tribute. I got a 70lb obsession bow and have just been tuning on that. I really wish I wouldn't of messed with the orig 70lb limbs on the tribute and just kept shooting it.

I built my benches with 1' of solid 2*4's on edge for the front edge. That way you can mount presses and vises anywhere. There are rail systems that screw to the wall that hold bins. I find that more effective than peg board.

Sako L61R Krieger stainless barrel McMillan stock Trued action matte blue finish. The gun has about 20 rounds through it, it shot 1/2" with a load used in my other RUM not even tuned for this gun. It will probably do better with some range time. $3000

That is a bunch of bullet down in the case. Is that why you hit pressure so soon?

The snipe-tac was not built by cheytac. They were built by Dave Viers. The reamers are available from PTG and any smith can build one.

Factory barrel? How many rounds? How does it shoot? Other work done? That all has to be considered.
