Re: PDA\'s and Ballistic progs again
I tried the Pesja program a while back on my wife's PDA she has for work. It was a Dell I can't recall what model. It had windows and office on it (light versions I suppose) and the Pesja program worked fine.
Has anyone changed their battery on the NSX scopes? Battery is supposed to last 720 hours of operation and while that may be true I somehow left the turrent pulled out and the illumination on for god knows how long. It's dead as a door nail. I read the manual that came with the scope and it says...
I took my boomstick to the gravel pit to chrony some loads.
Here is what 5 shots with a 338LM 300gr SMK at 3000fps do to a big chunk of granite. The cartridge is 3.87in to give you an idea. Season opens in 2 weeks. Can't wait.
Take care.
My 338 LM rig is 54 inches long break to pad. Needless to say it won't fit in your standard cases. I'm looking for either soft or hard case, shooting matt/roll up combo that carries on my back or a drag bag type. I googled it and found some but they where all for like 49-51 inches max. Any...
Has anyone tried the .338 wildcat bullets? Specifically the 300gr and up ones. What kind of BC's do they have? I'm currently using 300gr SMK's and they work well but they can be a pain to get sometimes in Canada. Wildcat bullets are in Alberta. Would be easier to get them...
I'm waiting on a chronograph right now so I was wondering if someone could estimate fps for my 338 LM load.
32 inch barrel
300gr SMK
94gr Retumbo
COL 3.87
Federal 215M primers
Thanks
what\'s the difference other then the knobs?
Can anyone tell me the difference between these 2 scopes?
Vari-X III 6.5-20x50mm Long Range Target
Vari-X III 6.5-20x50mm Long Range M1
it looks like they both have the same features. The M1 has different knobs but other then that I couldn't find...
Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'll take a good look at the 20x LR leupold scope. Looks like it might be a winner. I'd like to hear what people have to say about the Target Dot type reticle. I know DC uses them on his LR Leupold. They make sence to me as the obstruction of view with only a...
How much do you need? I plan on buying a Long Range scope soon and I'm looking at the Leupolds. They have the Long Range scopes I'm looking at in 14, 20 and 25 power. I know that the Canadian sniper kill (2600 yards or so) in Afgahn was made using a Leupold Mark 4 16x scope. If you're hunting...
