I’ve got an Bergera B-14 HMR Pro in 300 PRC it weighs around 10lbs without optic perhaps heavier than you’re looking for idk. It most likely wouldn’t be the first rifle out of my safe for typical hunting ranges but for long range situations it’s pretty groovy.

I have 2 WOA barrels I would not be afraid to buy another GTG in my opinion.

My load is very slightly over book so I will not mention it but you should find a very nice accuracy node in that area if your so inclined.

8208 and Varget are not the same 8208 and I think Benchmark #2 which is not sold stateside under that name is IMR 8208 XBR powder. I seem to remember reading something to that effect anyhow.

No way it’s cost effective to fool with that old barrel just get a new one even if I could do it myself with that round count I wouldn’t bother.

I have a 385yd range out the door of the garage and my 1000yd is 20 min away at the farm. I truly feel for guys that have travel any distance to shoot. I would most definitely have a setup to load at the range if I where in that situation. There are days when I load 5 shoot record my results...
