I thought for sure N560 would be the one. I’m think testing with virgin brass may be a factor. A sample of FL sized 1X brass had H2O cap of 100.0 grains compared to 95.5 for virgin. Plan on rerunning ladders with 1X brass and see where it takes me. I’ll also bump up the crimp as mine was...
A bit of alcohol on the wheel surface should address the case not spinning issue. Agree that the torch mount is a PITA. I tried several unsuccessful mods before I came across this video. Simple and cheap.
I was thinking 3600 going in, but then N560 was a total shot in the dark. QL is no help with the AH and the only data published here for this combo used RL33 which I would have also thought to be too slow. I looked at the 26 Nosler data for this bullet and they also used typical slow burning...
According to QL, a 100% fill rate load with H4831SC is 52.7 grains (48982 psi and 2784 fps from 26" barrel). See 1st attachment. Max pressure is at 56.8 grains and 108% fill rate. See 2nd attachment. Note that this data is based on a case capacity of 66 grains of H20.
