WTS Christensen Ridgeline Titanium w/Factory Upgrades

Christensen Arms Ridgeline Ti Custom built at Christensen Facility for a special program I participated in. Very smooth action, sub MOA with all loads I’ve tried (used brass cases only). I used this rifle for two hunting seasons and has a nick or two on the stock (pictured) and some anodizing...

Preferred Glassing Tripod for Backpack Hunting?

I like the size and weight of the RT-70C. Right now my current setup is about 7 lbs, but I'd like to hang onto my spotting scope vs leaving it behind. Sometimes using my binos leaves me wanting more maginification to verify if the elk I'm chasing is a cow or a spike. The siriu seems a little...

Preferred Glassing Tripod for Backpack Hunting?

I have an old bog pod tripod (aluminum, 6 or so years old) that I used to hunt whitetail and hogs with when I lived in Texas. I'm up in Idaho now and the bog pod is heavier than I'd like for it to be, since it's especially now just for throwing an adapter on to use for my spotting scope. Do you...

    New Mexico success

Congratulations to your friend and good on you for being there in support! I've alway wanted to get a goat but I've been smoked drawing a tag for one the past 5 years up in ID.

    Favorite Hunting clothing brand advice!!!

I fortunately had a friend gift me a slew of King's Camo gear (pants, puffy jacket, puffy pants, rain pants, rain jacked, merino wool top and bottoms, mid layer jacket...etc). They've held up well over 3 seasons and show no sign of slowing down. You can spend a lot more on gear but I don't think...

    New Boots

I have the Crispi Nevada GTX and they have been a great boot the past couple of years. Before that I ran some Merrel hiking boots and man...what a difference a good boot makes. If you are considering insulated vs non, I went non and just carry a thicker pair of socks with me if the occasion...

    Pants advice

I've really enjoyed my King's Camo preacher pant. I'm a tall lanky guy and they are fairly slim fitting. My hunting buddies say I should be a hunting gear model which how they look on me, but heck, they fit great, are comfortable and are one less piece of gear that I have to worry about failing...

    Underwear choices?

I'm within spitting distance of you Brent in southwest Boise. Underwear-wise, I cheaped out and wen't the cheapest merino boxer brief on amazon...I got a couple pair and it lasts me each hunt. I bounce back to some synthetics here and there but anything moisture wicking really does the trick...

Looking for opinions please. Lightweight backpack

I couldn't be more pleased with my Exo K3 4800. It was great last season (first season with it). I put a whole white tail doe in it and hiked back in one trip. It also held up great on my cow elk hunt...took me a few more trips but the weight always carried comfortably. The only thing I don't...

    Zamberlan boot sale ending

I've run Crispis the past few seasons and they are pretty good, but I'll check these guys out. They were runner-up on my past boot research.
