I put one together for my dad a few years ago. I used carbon six with a 7.5 twist. You’ll be fine with a 7.5. He was running the 175gr Sierra at 2940 with reloader 26. But now that 26 doesn’t exist he switched down to Speer 150 gr. Those shoot very well also. His is a 26 inch barrel

I liked mine until hunting with it. Low light gathering was awful. Decent scope for the money but I’d take Athlon all day long for the same price point. Way better in low light and lot clearer glass

Short action bolt. Actually went with a grayboe, fairly heavy. He wasn’t worried about weight, short barrel for suppressor
