New fully machined wheelgun on the way!

Great stuff! I’d sure appreciate knowing what those favorite 357 handloads are!

    Squirrels in my F150!

Had trouble on vacation once with a squirrel chewing on a wiring harness while we were hiking and now have squirrels were we’ve moved to. Our vehicles now have “Rid-a-Rat” blinking lights installed under the hood and haven’t had a problem since.

How would you read these OCW groups?

Try Federal 210Ms if you have them. They got rid of the flyers in my Tikka. My rifle really likes H4350, Lapua brass and 210Ms.

    Passing Judgement On The Creedmoor

Great sensible article from a man with lots of experience! Thanks, Darrell!!! Also, one of my favorite cartridges - fun to shoot, easy to reload, great brass, powder and bullet choices, and groups that put a smile on your face without putting major dent in your wallet or your shoulder.

    Short barreled rifles

H4350 still works well in my 20" Tikka CTR between .5 and .7 MOA (gun shoots better than I do!) with 147 ELD-M. 2545 fps (40.3 gr) and 2615 fps (41.7 gr ish - still playing with this one). Both are nice flat nodes with good ES and SD and no pressure signs in my gun, but all the standard warnings...

Relatively new reloader looking for feed back

My Tikka 6.5 Creed shoots best with Lapua brass and I've tried Hornady, Federal, Prime, and Nosler. Lapua was the most consistent and by a considerable margin, plus if you are like most you'll get more reloads which helps reduce the cost. Seems like most of the best PRS/NRL and accuracy oriented...

Offhand at 800yrds - Video and Challenge

That's some great shooting! I'm thinking about getting into this sport and would like to have you explain your reasoning for a 7 BR with 130's over the 6's and 6.5's which also seem so popular. Also, a picture of your gun and reasoning on the scope choice would also be appreciated! Thanks!!!!

Load Development Ruger Precision Rifle .243

Well I obviously have a lot to learn! Especially since it sure looks like I have an accidental double post I don't know how to edit out here! On the other hand, If I'm not mistaken Bryan Litz in a recent book of his speaks very highly of 100 yard testing, so that's sounds like a...

Load Development Ruger Precision Rifle .243

I've had great results, at least for me, in my 243 RPR with 46.5 grains of RL26 and 40.3 grains of IMR 4451 using 105 Bergers and 107 SMK's, plus 32.0 grains of H4895 and 58 grain vmax's, as well as 13.0 grains of Trail Boss with the VMax for a really light training load. A couple of groups are...

    Discussion of new book

Super helpful book which saved me many times the price in time and money for upgrades to my reloading equipment I was considering, but won't need and helped solidify things I should be looking at! Thanks for all you and your staff's efforts to make long range shooting more science based!
