    Anyone use a 10 gauge?

I can’t imagine TSS in a 10, gotta be impressive. I’m still old school running a Hastings .680 choke I shoot copperplated 5 shot in more open areas and swap to 6 shot in more heavily wooded areas. Both pattern extremely well.

    Anyone use a 10 gauge?

I started in my late teens hunting turkey with a Marlin bolt action, super goose 10. Sold it and bought a Browning BPS 10 w/24” barrel. Ended up selling it and buying a New England Firearms, single barrel 10 w/24” barrel. It’s the same as the old H&R shotguns. The NEF 10 is much more...

    Finally!

So very impressed, I have 22 points in WY at 57 years old. My knees fuss daily from old sports injuries. I’ve been hoping they hold out, if I ever get lucky enough to draw. After seeing this gentleman’s accomplishment, my knees are just going to need to, step it up no matter.... Tell your friend...

My Hunting Partner Gone but Not Forgotten

Sorry for your loss, prayers for you and your family. Sounds like your dad worked hard, so that those he loved and cared for could reap the benefits the ranch could produce. Maybe it was just a good way to spend time with family. May he Rest In Peace. Great buck and story.

    300 Hammer - AR-15 Platform

Just for comparison I have Wilson Combat 16” Stainless in 300 Blackout, I’m fairly sure it’s a 8 twist. If I remember right, at the time Wilson only had 7&8 twist and my intentions were to only run the lighter bullets. The barrel shoots very accurately! Even though I reload for many calibers, I...

Dang Tim!!! That’s a stud! I know you’ve killed some awesome animals, but that goat will rank up there high on your wall.

Light rifles, big cartridges, and scope mounts - learned my lesson, now it's time to pass it on.

I never had an issue with rings allowing the scope to slip, I usually use NF or Badger Ordnance steel rings. I have however, had issues with keeping picatinny rails mounted on heavier recoiling hunting weight rifles. With the weight of some of today’s top optics, the problem can be compounded...

Photos: (December 2013) Bighorn Sheep - Between Cody, WY and Yellowstone N.P.

I would be glad to see a few of those, if I ever draw a WY sheep tag. Great photos sir!

6mm 108 Berger Hunter terminal & accuracy feedback

Same here thinking about running them in a 6x47Lapua. The ballistic gel test on the Berger site looks impressive.

Any experience with the Badlands Precision .338 270 grain Super Bulldozer?

Interested to see how these work for you Cody. I have a 338 NM Ackley Improved, I might give them a try. I currently shoot the 300 Berger elite Hunter, my accuracy load is 88.5 H1000, CCI 250’s @ 2738. Would love to get more velocity, but I want to stick with the Hodgdon for it’s temp stability.
