Here was what I did today. I was on level ground. The sky was overcast and the time was mid-day. I saw some does on snow covered ground. Behind the does was a treeline. The treeline was 1300+. I could easily range the does at 600+ . I could go from doe to doe and get the same readings...
Boy, that's surprising. The beam on the Swaro is much larger than the Terrapin. I will doing some testing over the next week or so and I will post my results.

Please let us know your continuing results. I have found that praire dogs and antelope are the very hardest test for a rangefinder. Keep us abreast as many of us are looking for field information. That of course applies to anyone who is using the G7.

Nightforce without any doubt. By far the most repeatable scope and by far the most durable. Glass is excellent and the service cannot be beat. I would still say Nightforce if it was the most expensive scope on the market (which it is not!) Buy a Nightforce and there is no need to look back...
