I anneal every firing. My order deprime, anneal, size, check trim length, check neck thickness at the neck shoulder junction on turned brass (roughly every other firing), prime, load, shoot. Jeffvn

the 407 gr. .375 .571 G7 is a sweet number, the 8.0 twist is doable formost folks in the ELR pipeline. The 320+ gr. .338 looks awesome, but a 7 twist means its a dedicated solids rifle. Jeffvn

I started off annealing every 2 or 3 firings on everything, except my.338 LM Improved, which I did every firing. Now I anneal everything every time. easier to keep track. Jeffvn

Redding makes a VLD plug that will probably cure that issue for any jacketed bullet. I have and shoot solids that bottom out on the Redding VLD plugs, but a few minutes with a carbide drill bit to lengthen the tip of the plug cured my problem. Jeffvn
