    hearing aids anyone ?

The first step is getting your hearing tested, and make sure to get a copy of the results. It's called an audiogram. Hearing aids are no different than any other complex tool, prices are all over the place. I know this because I get paid to research retail pricing for HA's every month...

    Stove

I carry a Kelly Kettle in my vehicle. It heats a bottle of water for a hot drink or a freeze dried meal fast. And it does it with twigs for fuel. Simple and safe when not in use. No affiliation other than a happy owner: https://www.kellykettleusa.com

    Spikes only this year?

Since I was fortunate enough to draw a cow tag and then pickup a leftover bull tag, what are the chances all I will see are spikes?

    Joined in on the Grendel

Though some prefer the hand guard long enough to cover the gas block I do not. Great looking Grendel!

    Left over tag day

Just a reminder. Got my cow tag after only 2 hours standing in line. The people around me were friendly which made the time go by quick. The tags are going quick too... Good luck! Jack

Which AR for Predators and Home Defense?

Light recoil, inherent accuracy of high BC 6.5 projectiles, and more energy than a 308 at a 1000 yards to mention a few. Jack

Which AR for Predators and Home Defense?

I suggest building a 6.5 Grendel instead of buying a 5.56 AR. Go with a 16" or 18" barrel to get the weight and handling you want for home defense and still have an excellent coyote gun. Jack

How my bipod gets the most use; holding binos. The leather boot I made, it fits on the Atlas tight and protects binos and cameras, a poor man's multipurpose bino adapter.... Pic's to follow as soon as I get them to load

Fishbox, Here's one withe the short extensions on my Grendel. The P-dog is its first taste of blood. I'll get a couple more pics and post them later today.

    Bipod height

I cut wooden dowels to fit in the legs of an Atlas Bipod so I now have 1', 2', and 3' extensions. The 1' work in grass on the flat and the long ones work shooting downhill. With the bipod off the rifle the 2' extensions make a perfect rest for my bino's with sitting. Jack
