I have a Sako A7 in 300-WSM...I love it I also have a Browning X-Bolt 7MM-WSM...I love it. Both feed perfectly. Both rifles are great, with a slight nod to the Sako, not because of the cartridge, but because of the rifle itself.

Mine was a bicentennial Ruger number 1, 270 cal. It was a beautiful rifle and shot really well.

Every gun is different, but I have found that bullet seating depth has more to do with accuracy than anything else I have tried. Experiment with different depths

In my opinion, no contest, WSM all the way...bullet selection is great, you can load it down or you can load it full bore. If you are recoil sensitive, use a lighter bullet and load it down. Going after Elk? Get close to max and go...the 300WSM, in my experience is also very accurate.
