I just use Aardvark Muzzle Velocity app on my smart phone to calculate the true muzzle velocity.

Your problem may be to do with the harmonics of the barrel. Try changing the load incrementally until you hit the sweet spot.

I would also recommend the Vectornix Terrapin but if you can not afford the 2000 dollars maybe check out the Newcon 2000 pro.
