Hmm 6.5 pounds is a tough weight to end up with when all is said and done. I was able to be just under 10 with my 7 WSM. With a high end scope for long range accuracy, a decent barrel for stability and full magazine with possibly a bipod. It will be tough to be lighter than 8 or 9 pounds

I have been shooting a Night Force for both competition and long range Hunting for many years and I love it. The ATACR AND BEAST is a excellent scopes but the MOAR SUBTENTION LINES ARE TO THICK. MAKE THEM THE SAME THICKNESS AS THE NP-R1 SUBTENTION LINES AND YOU WILL HAVE A WINNER.

I shoot light long range competition but for most of my life I have shot in the field for elk and mulies. I am re-barreling my 7WSM and am torn between light and medium palma 1-9 twist. Want to do well in the matches and still not kill myself in the high country. What are your thoughts ??

Thank you Did you notice what the overall length of the mag was. The HS mag forces me to seat 160,000 off my lanz with my 180 bergers otherwise the cartridges wont fit in the clip.
