I see that Ernie recommends a bolt rig or MOA, I use the TC Encore which works great for me. It is my personal opinion that people recommend what they shoot to people. Unless you are planning on shooting a 1000 yds the TC will work great, it is my opinionm that the TC with FRO or custom barrels...

I have a 18in Encore barrel plus JP brake, I only have about 250 rds down the tube. This length barrel seems to work great for me. I have only shot the Sierra 165 SPBT hunting bullet and the Sierra 190 gr MK, both seem to work in a 18 in barrel using IMR 4350. Have fun. gravedigger

Try H4895, I shoot this powder in my 17 in encore barrel with very good results with the Berger bullet. Don't give loads as they are just safe in my barrel, yours might not like them. Harold

You might try the Sierra 65 gr. Gameking bullet, I use it on fox and large feral dogs. You need a 1 in 7 or 1 in 8 twist for this bullet, very accurate in my encore, Later.
