Nightforce 2.5-10X42 10 power will easily get you out to 1k and 2.5 is great for hunting thick cover. Having a scope with the lower end being in the 4.5-5.5 range is too much for close shots in cover.

I've hunted 65 for the last three years on public ground. I've had very good success. It's probably not the unit to hunt if your looking for trophy bulls, however I've seen a few decent bulls. Hunting pressure in 65 is normal for CO.

What are the specs? Stock, barrel, brake etc.
