    That old dead horse .308win along with 165 grain Sierras will handle the vast vast majority of all your hunting needs anywhere on the planet, guaranteed ! You do your job and that ole' gal will more than do hers....somewhere along the line we've been bamboozled by marketing gimmick cartridges...

    ..it eventually bothers everyone whether they admit or not ! I've found that taking blood thinners caused myself to cut way back on shooting the big warhorses...no fun seeing your arms black and blue from your shoulder to your wrist.... love them big bangers !

    ..in my opinion it's not worth arguing about in a hunting firearm....in a target or competition rifle I'd give the edge to the RUM easily...sharpe shoulder and better brass..
