Thanks to Caleb and his awesome crew for this challenge. Also thanks to the great list of sponsors who made this whole thing possible.
It was fun and a challenge at the same time. I learned a bit on where I need to improve, and boosted my confidence in my equipment.
I look forward to...
Keep up this type of hunting and your legs will be as tough as a mountain goats. I'd imagine you would have to do some pretty intensive training make this type of hunting somewhat bearable.
You're absolutely right, I have been a complete recluse. I'm finally out of school and looking for...
Thanks for the great story Tim. Congratulations to the Titus clan for a successful hunt and well earned trophies. I always enjoy hearing about your family's stories and get a sense of vicariousness by reading them, amazing adventure and hunt.

Hi Jon,
I have the 6-24x50 model.
I've had it mounted on a couple rifles so far, right now it's on my .308 Palma. At 600 yards it appeared to track through all my wind adjustments accurately and returned to zero.
I've let some guys who's opinions I respect, look through it for their...

I hate to admit that is where the NF has an advantage over the S-III with their illuminated fine reticles in low light. But half the price the Sightron is outstanding, and your not sacrificing much of anything. I believe that Sightron now offers a mil-dot reticle if I am not mistaken.
I am happy with the fine cross hair. But there is one problem with the FCH and that is you cannot see your reticle in low light. I could probably live with either the 1/8" or FCH, but I doubt I will go straight FCH again even though its simple and it works in 95% of the conditions I shoot in.
Depending on your purpose I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. I have the 8-32x56 S-III and use it for long range varmints and target shooting on my .284/6Dasher. Originally the scope I bought had the 1/4" dot, which was too big. So I had it converted to fine cross hair.
The optics are really...
