We did use H&M for nitride but ran into a stretch of unusual results. We did our best to work it out but ultimately the effort fell short so we are on a new nitride outfit.
I hope you understand that we will keep this information close to the vest. Finding quality coating operations is a real hardship and they have their own capacity issues. My gut compels me to be as open as possible, but in this case we will keep this confidential.
We have received the titanium actions back from DLC coating. The short Ti-X comes in at 16.8 ounces. The medium was configured in a way that we are going to change. We are making another one and will confirm the weight when it is completed. It will be less than 17.6 ounces.
We expect the short and medium Ti-X back from coating any day now. Then we will be able to confirm the weight of these and report. Left handed versions are in the works. Brian/Pucker Factor is a dream to work with and knows his stuff. We very much appreciate their efforts.
